Welcome to the Royal Yorkshire Yacht Club website!
The RYYC is based in Bridlington, East Yorkshire and operates from two sites. The main clubhouse is located on Windsor Crescent just opposite the harbour from where the keelboats reside, whilst the dinghy section, Dinghies@RYYC, operates from Blyth Park a couple of miles south down Bridlington's sandy beaches. Members and visitors are made welcome to use all the club's facilities. If you are an experienced sailor looking for a new club please contact the Secretary who will put you in contact with a suitable member to get you sailing straight away. If you are new to the sport, there are many ways to learn at the RYYC. Choose "Training" from the menu opposite for more details. We also cater for the needs of those who have no desire to get their feet wet. The RYYC has a varied and lively social programme running throughout the year. Social membership can be applied for which will also allow you the use of our bar with its fantastic views across the bay as well as all our other on-shore facilities and access to our social programme. New to Sailing?
There are many ways to get sailing at the RYYC. The RYYC has a full time Training Centre which runs RYA (Royal Yachting Association) courses in Sailing, Windsurfing and Powerboating. These courses are run by qualified staff and will usually last between 1 and 3 days. This will give you all the basics you need to go sailing. For more details click here or contact the Secretary on 01262 678319. Alternatively why not come along for an informal visit? Again please contact the Secretary. Many boat owners are often looking for new crew and would be happy to train a novice. Why not sign up to the crew register? Failing any of the above, have a word with the Secretary who will put you in contact with someone who will be able to guide you with the best route into the sport.
Regatta Introduction

Racing takes place on a variety of courses in and around Bridlington Bay.
